University of New Hampshire
The University of New Hampshire is the home of Zero Gravity’s annual spring kick off tournament, the New Hampshire Hoops Festival. Located in Durham, New Hampshire, the sprawling campus of UNH is a beautiful destination all teams truly enjoy visiting.
The Hamel Recreation Center sits directly connected to the famous Whittemore Center, home of the UNH Ice Hockey team. Hamel was built back in 2015 and was opened to the students by 2016. This state of the art facility is 18,000 square feet and is loaded with 3 multi-sport courts, 2 studios, a cycling studio, 1/10 mile indoor track, demonstration kitchen, 3 hardwood courts, 1 squash court, and 2 racquetball courts.
Founded in 1886, the Division I University of New Hampshire was New Hampshire’s first ever public research institution. UNH’s 11 schools and colleges (Durham being home to 9 of them) offer over 200 programs within over 100 majors. With over 15,400 students coming from 50 states and 70 countries, UNH has a very unique and diverse culture.
