Iona, Hynes Athletic Center
Zero Gravity and Iona College have teamed up in the past 5 years to host many of our events at their facility, the Hynes Athletic Center. It is located on Iona’s campus in New Rochelle, New York. This 44,000 sq. ft multi-purpose facility is home to the Iona Gaels basketball and volleyball teams, but also hosts many other events. This building has 3 regulation sized hardwood basketball courts that can also be used for volleyball. This Spring season, Zero Gravity will be hosting 4 tournaments at this facility over the span of 4 different weekends.
This facility also just finished a $6.5 million expansion in 2019 which includes;
- Upgraded hardwood courts and seating
- Four 4mm LED displays measuring 12.6′ x 9.45′
- New sound and lighting systems
- Additional upgrades to locker rooms, admission windows and concessions
